The incident happened on Saturday, Dec. 12 at approximately 1:15 p.m. in New Canaan.
Benjamin Edward Musso, of Naugatuck, 26, was alleged to be "very lethargic" and "unsteady on his feet" when New Canaan Police arrived at A-1 Cellars on Elm Street. His breath smelled of alcohol, police said.
After failing field sobriety tests, Russo was brought to New Canaan Police Headquarters, police said, where his blood alcohol content was recorded at .350 percent. He was reportedly charged for driving while intoxicated and released after posting $300 bail.
